YOUTH RED CROSS:
The Indian Red Cross Societyis a voluntary humanitarian organization, established by an act of the IndianLegislature in 1920 having on its rolls the states, the union territories, thedistricts and the sub district branches. Its activities are being directedforwarded for providing relief in times of disasters/emergencies, prevention ofdiseases, improvement of health and mitigation of suffering. The Indian RedCross Society realized the importance of the youth way back in 1925 andestablished Junior Red Cross (JRC) in schools and Youth Red Cross (YRC) incolleges.
Each generation passes on the torch of development to the next. Hence itbecomes the challenge for the present generation to gloom the future oftomorrow and that is “Youth”. The hope of every nation in the world is itsyoung people. We, in our institution prepare our students to be caringcitizens, so that they have an opportunity to touch the lives of the needy andthe helpless. We try to make a difference in our students through YRC.

To be the most effective and trusted institutionin this rural area to improve the lives of needy with humanitarian concern andthereby making a man whole by providing service wholeheartedly.
Mission :
To perform a critical role in motivating the studentsfor blood donation and also to inspire, encourage and initiate at all times allforms of social activities so that human sufferings are minimized, allivatedand even prevented.
Objectives :
§ Toinform the members of UTC and others the role and responsibilities of Red Crossand encourage them to contribute.
§ Tocreate awareness on the care of their own health and that of others.
§ Tounderstand and accept civic responsibilities and act accordingly withhumanitarian concern and to full the same.
§ To enablethe growth and development of a spirit of service and sense of duty withdedication and devotion in the minds of youth.
§ Toprovide better friendly relationship with all without any discrimination.
§ To offerFirst Aid Training to all the students.
§ Toencourage the students to extend their humanitarian services to the society.
