Government Naveen College, Bhairamgarh, District Bijapur is one of the institutions of higher education in Bastar Regions which predominated by tribal communities is largely devoted to under graduate studies in Chhattisgarh state.
The institute is affiliated to Shaheed Mahendra Karma Vishwavidyalaya (SMKV), Bastar, Jagdalpur (C.G.) and approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India . Since its inception in 2013, college is a dynamic, fast growing educational institution.

The college has a committed and dedicated teaching faculty of 2 PhD holders and 4 PG with UGC Net JRF holders. There are 03 non-teaching members and 08 Guest Lecturers. A number of co-curricular and extracurricular activities are regularly organized throughout the year. The college has student strength of 150 in the current session. It holds the unique opportunity of being a mixed bowl of tribal and rural students, majority of them being first generation learners. The college, since its inception, is serving the society in a significant way by providing higher education to first generation learners. This is distinctive feature of this institution.
The college had a humble start with just two rooms that housed Arts, Commerce and Science faculty, at the local high school. The college present building was in augurated by the Former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Honorable Dr. Raman Singh on 22nd May 2018. It was shifted to its present site, campus of 20.46 acres, in 2018. Since then the college is continuously growing in terms of infrastructure and learning resources in its journey towards excellence. The college has separate hostel for boys 100 seats and girls 50 seats and also 9 staff quarters.
This institution holds high repute in the fields of sports. It has Cricket ground, Badminton Court, Volleyball court and other facilities for indoor games. The NSS wings are actively involved in social activities and hold camps regularly in the rural areas, with the mission of spreading literacy and hygiene. NSS also have a separate Girls Wing.The college library is well equipped with books, and reading rooms. It has a book bank facility for SC and ST students. The college gives a number of scholarships to SC / ST /OBC/ Sports/Merit students sanctioned by the government. It has successively established smart classrooms, provided with Wi-Fi connectivity.
